Workshop for Small Business Set

Prince George, B.C. – The Province has set a workshop in Prince George to help small businesses.
Up to thirty businesses will attend the workshop which will be delivered by the Business Development Bank of Canada on Nov. 17.
Participants who pre-submit financial information will receive a personalized financial analysis to better identify and execute business improvement strategies.
Economists consider productivity a key determinant of per capita income and improving productivity can lead to improved living standards.
Following the workshops, up to ten businesses will receive a workplace visit from Business Development Bank of Canada consultants, who will perform a comprehensive business diagnostic and work one-on-one with clients to
develop a detailed business development plan.
The productivity program was developed in partnership with the Ministry of Small Business, Technology and Economic Development; the Business Development Bank of Canada; the BC Chamber of Commerce; and the Southern
Interior and Northern Development Trusts.
A similar workshop is being held in Cranbrook.
