Prince George, B.C.- The trick or treaters will be heading out this evening, and the RCMP are sending out their annual safety reminder.
The Prince George detachment will have extra personnel working with the regular shift tonight to ensure everyone has a safe Halloween experience. All residential areas will be patrolled during the trick or treating hours. Vandalism and pranks usually associated with Halloween will not be tolerated.

- Stay in your own neighbourhood
- Never enter alleys, parking lots, wooded areas or vacant lots
- Start early and finish early

- Visit one side of the street, then cross at a corner and do the other side.
Candy:
- Do not eat any candy until you and your parents have a chance to look at it
