Prince George, B.C. - After a heartbreaking loss last night, the Prince George Cougars will look to use that as motivation to earn a weekend double header split against the Tri-City Americans.

The Cougars fought back from a 2-0 deficit, only to see the Americans win the game with a power play goal with on 15 ticks left on the clock in the third period.

The Cougars go into the game with a 3-11-0-0 record and the Americans are 12-3-0-0, winners of 10 of their past 11.

The Cougars won't see action at CN Centre for a while after tonight, as they hit the road for a season high seven game road trip, which will start in Kelowna next Wednesday, before heading East to meet Swift Current, Moose Jaw, Regina, Brandon, Prince Albert and Saskatoon.  The Cats next home game is Friday, November 20 against the Kelowna Rockets.

If the Cougars management continue at this present level of ineptitude, they could be eliminated from the playoffs before the CHristmas break thus establishing a new WHL record. If the current players are eliminated from the playoffs before Christmas, and then head home for the Christmas break, it is my guess that most of them will not return.
Thanks once again for your valuable and intelligent insight. LOL.
Soon the headline will be "Cougars play final home game before move to Wenatchee"

The question is, will there be any fans in the stands at that game?
good question Tom, I doubt it..
