Prince George, B.C.- The Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit- Prince George with the assistance of the Prince George RCMP detachment GIS members, General Duty members and North District officers have arrested two males in the 1700 block of Pearson Avenue and seized two firearms. 

 

A semi automatic assault rifle, a sawed off shot gun and ammunition were seized. The two males face firearms related charges. The CFSEU will continue with this investigation.

 

The firearms are not beleived to be from the weekend break and enter which saw 17 firearms stolen from a Ewert Crescent home. In that case, RCMP say the firearms were propertly stored in a gun safe in a locked room. The firearms were all registered, although the registered owner is deceased. That investigation continues as well.
