The Williams Lake Timberwolves have fired Head Coach Dave Dupas and replaced him on an interim basis with Team Owner, President and Director of Hockey Operations John Wright.

The Timberwolves, a first year team, have the worst record record (5 wins, 14 losses and 1 tie) in the BCHL.

The decision came after the Twolves lost 6-0 to the Vernon Vipers Sunday night. The Timberwolves host the Prince George Spruce Kings Tuesday night.

The Spruce Kings doubled Williams Lake 6-3 Saturday to end a 7-game home winless streak.

Pretty hard to blame Dupas.

One look at the roster and anyone that follows hockey would have concluded that Scotty Bowman himself would have been hard pressed to get any positive results.

How mgmt believed this team could compete is laughable.
The owners of the TWolves believe they are the most knowledgeable hockey people on earth. They chased away one coach (Fox) before Dupas, who couldnt handle the owners meddling in hockey decisions. I saw the TWolves play here three times. Though they didnt have much talent, they played hard. Wright and the other owner, Kohlen are well on their way to ruining junior hockey in Williams Lake
Any relation to Brodsky?
Guess they couldn't afford to pay a coach with bills mounting and mucho money owed to everyone even associated with the team.

Marketing Guy- released
Coach- Fired

What expenses are left to cut??
Now John Wright's son is coach.

This club/ownership group is a black mark on the whole league.
And yet they have a better winning percentage than the Cougars, at 0.275 vs 0.222, LOL.
