Vanderhoof Wins In 9 Man Football

Kamloops-   Vanderhoof Vikings won the Bantam level, Provincial Championship for 9 man football on Saturday in Kamloops.  
 
They won the Northern Zone final against PG 2 weeks ago, and then went down to play the Southern Zone champions, who were the Kelowna Storm. 
 
Final score Vanderhoof 34, Kelowna Storm 32.

 

It was the first ever north vs. south provincial championship for the 9 man BC Community Football Association’s league.  9 man football is the league that PG, Quesnel, and Vanderhoof compete in at the Peewee, Junior Bantam, and Bantam level.
