Man In Hospital In Quesnel - 20 Year Old Woman To Be Charged

Quesnel- A 20 year old woman is scheduled to appear in court in Quesnel on Tuesday, charged with aggravated assault, following a stabbing incident in Nazko early Saturday morning.

Police were called to the G.R.Baker Memorial Hospital on Saturday afternoon after an adult male was brought to the hospital suffering from a stab wound that he allegedly received at a party in Nazko.

He was transported to hospital by residents of the community following the stabbing. He had received life threatening injuries and is in intensive care at the hospital.

The woman, a Quesnel resident, and the man are known to one another and police say this was not a random incident.
