The light festival is a great idea . . but when it was started, the intent was to make it free within a few years. Does anyone think that will ever happen?
Good to hear that there will be CHRISTMAS lights on the hill again this year but the ones on Candy Cane Lane are free.
Free???? why??? Swimming in our pools is not "free". It is paid for by both the general tax payer and user fees.

These lights are the same. User fees do not cover the total cost, so there are general taxes being used.

Time someone made a list of all those things in this city that are being funded through the taxpayers and what the popular opinion is about what should be kept, what should be discarded, and what should be added.
