Man Shot by Police in Smithers, Faces Charges

Prince George, B.C.- One count of Possession of Stolen Property and one count of Dangerous Driving have been approved for Cole Christopher Foos, 25 years old, originally from California.

He is the man   police  attempted to remove from a stolen truck in Smithers November 21st.    Police say   Foos was trying to flee from police,  the officer was being dragged by the vehicle, and the officer  shot Foos more than once.

Foos  was transferred to hospital in Vancouver where he was treated and released. He is expected  to make a full recovery.

At the time of his release from hospital, Foos was arrested by RCMP members and is currently being held until his next court appearance scheduled for December 4th, 2009.

I agree rambleon. I think The USA will deal with him in a much harsher way than our spineless legal system!!

My hat is off to the cop that shot him! Too bad he missed. Dead people don't talk!!
He Foos up... or is he is just a Foos up... lol.
I think the cop should have given him one warning shot.........through the head.
Send him back to the states, with a hospital bill, cost of any damages to the stolen vehicle and the cost of the bullets.
