Mother and Son Heading to Family Reunion Die in Crash

Quesnel,  B.C.-    A woman from Kamloops and her adult son were killed Friday on Highway 97 Near Red Bluff road.  They were heading to a family reuninon in Prince George when their Nissan was struck  by a  southbound Chevy pick up.

The sole occupant of the Chevrolet Pickup suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries and was taken to Quesnel Hospital.

Alcohol and Speed do not appear to be a factor in this collison.  A medical issue may have been a contributing factor that the investigator is presently investigating. The North District Collision Reconstructionist and Coronor also attended the scene. If anyone may have witnessed this collision is asked to contact Cst.
