Enjoy the trip into the states boys..... Will probably be your home one day. Lots of talk about trying to expand the American divison
And a lot closer to the current owners other hockey interests
As much as I would hate it, I have to agree. Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe this is the last year of the Cougars contract with CN Centre, and ownership has stated in the past he needs 3000 average attendees to break even. He's barely getting 2000 this season.
The owner is the only one to blame. It would be a shame to loose them but under current ownership I don't really care. I stopped going years ago. Now if we could be competitive, I would start going again.
So the one that signs the check at the end of the day is at fault?
The owner does not have a vested interest in a winning team so he let's them wallow in their ineptitude, while wearing his jersey?
The owner has not provided enough of something?

You're suggesting that the Coyotes would have become a winning team if balisalie was permitted to buy the team?

Owners don't make winning teams. They hire the right staff to make winning teams. Then they take the accolades.
In this particular instance, yes the owner is at fault. When the owner continues to employ a completely inept GM who happens to be his son-in-law, then yes, those who sign the pay cheque are at fault for the failure for not making the appropriate changes to right the ship.
