Public Welcome to Take Part in Planning UNBC's Future

Prince George, B.C. - UNBC's President, Dr.George Iwama will be hosting a town hall-style community meeting at the Prince George Civic Centre on Monday, December 14.
He will describe UNBC’s planning process and some of his ideas for the next five years as well as open the opportunity for feedback and questions from community members.
“The current planning process is based on the University’s history, previous plans, and collective vision for the future,” says Dr. Iwama. “I know northerners are passionate about their university, and I am looking forward to hearing from them in person. By early in the new year, we will have a renewed vision for UNBC’s future.”
Dr. Iwama began his duties in July of this year and was officially sworn in as UNBC’s fourth president on October 16.
The event will run from 6pm until 10pm.
