Alberni Valley Bulldogs 6 Prince George Spruce Kings 5

Spruce Kings led 2-0 after one period and enjoyed a 5-4 lead with just five minutes left in the 3rd.

Nick DeSousa notched a goal and an assist in a losing cause. Kyle Nielson took the loss in the net with 24 saves as P.G. outshot Alberni 34-30

--The Spruce Kings host Cowichan Valley this evening (Saturday).

My Christmas wish... please... oh please... can the Kings get a goaltender that can stop a few pucks? Or at least can they get a Goalie Coach that can teach them how to stop a puck?

I cannot count how many very weak goals have cost the Kings games because of bad goaltending. Of course not all games are their fault but the Kings could have a number of more wins in their pocket if one of their better players was the guy between the pipes.

A note to the Cougars... your season is done, can the Kings have Alex Wright back?
