Prince George, B.C. - One person has been taken to hospital following a crash between two pickup trucks 50 km west of Prince George near Bednesti.
Police say one pick up was from Alberta, the other from Vanderhoof. At this point it would appear road conditions were a contributing factor in the crash.
Highway rescue had to be called to the scene as one of the drivers was trapped in the vehicle. That person has since been taken to hospital with undetermined injuries. The condition of the other driver is not immediately known.
Highway 16 is now open to single lane alternating traffic.
