By 250 Sports
The Prince George Cougars will play two more games before the Christmas break begins, starting tonight against the Kamloops Blazers. The teams are squaring off for the third time this season, with a total of 10 clashes between the BC Division rivals during the 2009-10 WHL year. The Blazers won the first two games with the Cougars, both in Kamloops, by scores of 6-1 October 9 and 3-2 on December 5. The latter game saw the Cougars hold a 2-1 lead in the third period, only to have Kamloops come back with a pair of goals to win. The Cougars and Blazers meet again tomorrow night at CN Centre. Both games are at 7:00.
Tonight, the Prince George SPCA will be collecting cleaning and office supplies in Section X on the concourse. Saturday night is the annual Teddy Bear and Toque Toss Game, with all teddy bears, toques and mittens going to the Prince George Salvation Army and RCMP Victim Services. Prince George Esporta Cleaners will be at the game to collect old boots and shoes, which they will clean and distribute to Active Support Against Poverty.
