Prince George, B.C.- RCMP are advising people to watch for a fraudulent job posting that is designed to  make people part with their money.
The posting has been spotted in the Prince George area and calls for applicants to email their resumes. The applicants are then mailed a pack of information which includes a cheque and instructions to cash it, keep 10% of the proceeds and send the balance via money transfer overseas.
Police say this is a common fraud scheme where victims do not learn   they have been duped until up to two months later when the bank is notified the cheque is fraudulent.   The victim is then left owing the outstanding balance back to the bank.
Police are warning the public to be aware of any “easy money “scheme and if they have fallen victim to this type of fraud, to please notify police.

If it seems too good to be true...

Greed puts pretty good blinders on some people Headshake.
I shake my head when people call the police and expect them to be able to recoup their funds for them. There is virtually no way this will happen.
If you are that stupid and gullible, maybe you shouldn't be entrusted with money.
Wow this scam is older then Jesus and people are still falling for it.
Oh yeah,

The Head of Microsoft in the UK just sent me an email, and said I just won 500,000 UK Pounds!

I already sent the $750 dollar money order back to him so he can process all the needed international paperwork.

I am excited!
