Prince George, B.C.- RCMP are reporting a  second potential scam in the community.  They say a woman was approached at the Spruceland mall after leaving the bank.  An older female aproached her and accused her of scratching her car door, and demanded money to pay for the damage.   When the woman denied causing the damage, an older male stepped forward and stated he witnessed her  causing the damage and said she should pay up.

RCMP are  advising that if  you  find yourself in a similar   situation  do not give  the person any  money and report the incident to the  police.  All vehicle damage claims should be directed  through ICBC.

Earlier today,  police advised of a scam  which   involved  a job posting that had  victims  send in resumes by email.  Victims were then sent a  package of information which contained a cheque.   Applicants were  instructed  to cash  the  cheque, keep 10% and  send the rest via money order  to an overseas account.   The cheques eventually bounced and the victim  is left  responsible for paying the bank the full amount that had been   paid out.
