The Drinking and Driving Counter Attack program will be in full force tonight.
The annual program to keep drunk drivers off the road, wraps up on the 2nd of January, but tonight is the big party night.

Stats show that in 2004 alcohol was a factor in one of every four fatal accidents in B.C. The stats also show the most fatal accidents happen between 9 p.m. and 3 a.mi

The program has been underway since the 2nd of December, and on that first weekend, 10 impaired drivers were pulled off the road in the Prince George region and several 24 hour suspensions were handed out.

Final results of the annual campaign should be ready by the end of the first week of January.
