Bidlevski No Longer Cougars' Captain

Prince George, BC Prince George Cougars Head Coach Dean Clark  has made a change  as to who will be the team leader. Art Bidlevskii, who had been Captain,  will  give up the "C" and  become an assistant captain along with Alex Rodgers, and Brett Connolly.

The new Captain of the team is  20-year old defenceman Garrett Thiessen.  Thiessen was acquired in September and is playing in his third season for the Cougars, also skating with the club for two seasons between 2006 and 2008. Thiessen has two assists and 80 penalty minutes for the Cougars this year in 30 games played.

The reasons for the change have not been disclosed.
