The Prince George Cougars will try to end their seven game homestand with a win against the Medicine Hat Tigers tonight, 24 hours after the Tigers opened the mid-week double-header with a 9-3 win.

Linden Vey sparked the attack for the Tigers with a hat-trick and five points.  Alex Rodgers scored twice, including a rare short-handed goal with the Cougars down a pair of men.  The Cougars losing streak reached 10 last night while the Tigers will go for a fifth consecutive victory.  The Tigers took over first in the Central Division with their victory, with a two point lead on Calgary.  The Hitmen, though, have four games in hand.  Tonight will see a celebration of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Torch Relay, with a puck dropping ceremony before the game.  Puck drop is at 7:00.

The Cougars will hit the road for a pair of BC Division games, starting in Kelowna Friday, followed by a date with the Vancouver Giants in Langley Saturday.
