P.G.Boxers Knocked Out of Competition

Spruce Capital boxer Thomas Spiers was stopped in the 3rd round (after a third, eight count) by Cedric Langlois of Quebec at the Elite Nationals in Saint-Hyacinthe, Quebec. Spiers finished with a 1-and-1 record in the 165 pound division (75kg). Earlier, he beat Ryan Walkowski of Manitoba 9-7. 

Kenny Lally of Inner City lost a 14-12 decision against 5 time Canadian Champion Joey Laviolette  of Halifax in the 119 pound (54kg) class. Lally finished 0-1.

Both Marcus Hume of Spruce Capital and Jag Seehra of Inner City also ended up 0-1.

Hume was beaten 9-7 by Shawn Alphonso of Newfoundland in the 141 pound (64 kg) class while Seehra fell to Canadian Champion Cam O'Connell of Alberta 18-3 at 132 pounds (60 kg).

Bob Pegues of Inner City is the coach of the BC team.
