Snowmobile Theft Results In Charges

Prince George- Two men face charges , while a female was released without being charged after the Prince George Crime Reduction Team recovered a stolen snowmobile following a police chase late Wednesday.

Police had been watching a known criminal hot spot when a vehicle left the scene with a stolen snowmobile in the back, travelling along without  the headlights on.

Police attempted to make a stop,  but the vehicle failed to pull over. The vehicle ran red lights, and stop signs,  in an effort to avoid police, but the vehicle was eventually located in the 3000 block of Ferry Ave.

Tracking the footprints through the snow police arrested three people in the 3200 block of Christenson Rd.

Charged in connection with theb theft are Clinton Lawrence Couiyk ,27, and Colby Selly Johnson,27,a third suspect a woman was released without being charged.
