The Prince George Spruce Kings remain two points behind the Trail
Smoke Eaters for the final playoff spot in the BCHL Interior Conference
following a 5-2 victory over the Nanaimo Clippers before 1551 fans at the
P.G. Coliseum.
Andrew Walsh stopped 36 shots and both Zac Rasmussen (3 + 1) and
Sam Muchalla (1 + 3) each had four points in a winning cause. Trail
won its Friday night game 3-2 over Salmon Arm.
The (16-33-1-4) Spruce Kings host Victoria Saturday at 7pm.
