Prince George, B.C. -- It's one of the most popular events held during Snow Daze -- the Walmart Kids' Fun Fair...

Executive Director, Marion Axelson, says today's fair at the Connaught Youth Centre has a host of activities guaranteed to keep the kids entertained for hours:  there will be 18-20 game stations, facepainting, bingo, a craft table, and snacks.  As well, Axelson says mascots from various organizations around the city will be making special appearances throughout the event.

She says, "It's affordable fun for the whole family.  Admission is free and you can purchase tickets for 50-cents, which are good for playing games or using to purchase snacks like a hot dog or bag of chips."

This year's theme is Disney characters and the kids are invited to come dressed as their favourite.  The event runs at the youth centre on 17th Avenue and Victoria from 10am until 4pm.

Also on today, the Over-the-Line Snowball Tournament at Dillman's Field on Highway 16 West and Muralt Road.  Spectators are welcome.
