1200 Plants Seized in Quesnel Grow Op

Quesnel, B.C. - The Quesnel Drug section, general duty officers and Prince George Dog Services were back in a rural area of Quesnel to bust another marijuana grow operation today...

Last week, the officers raided two properties on Rawlings Road and arrested one man in connection with the grow ops found. (click here for previous story) They were back on Rawlings Road again this morning, this time in the two-thousand block where Corporal Luiz Sardinha says a search of the residence and outbuildings revealed a sophisticated grow op, consisting of approximately 1200 plants.

Sardinha says the operation appeared to be in its infancy, as the location was still under construction.

One man was taken into custody.  Police believe he is linked to Asian organized crime out of the lower mainland. (click here for previous story)

Also seized during today's raid: a large quantity of grow equipment and a diesel generator valued at more than 20-thousand dollars.
