Bomb Disposal Unit Blasts Package

Prince George, B.C.- The RCMP “E” Division Explosive Device Unit was called to a residence on Moffat Street last evening after a complainant reported a suspicious package in the carport.
The nearby homes were evacuated while the EDU used a robot to examine and open the package. He package contained bomb making materials and pipe closed off at both ends. EDU used a water pressure explosion to disable the pipe.
Investigation has revealed the owner of the package and its contents no longer lives at that location . The materials were seized and charges are pending.
