Holy drug war???
why do people have to ASSume that it is always drugs!!! come on now let's hear some facts first!! sheesh!!!
I pardon my rash assumption. I've been reading too many posts on this website..
RIP Owen
U will be sadley missed my friend
What are the rumors? Anybody hearing anything?
if it was drugs or gangs cops would be th1 1st to brag to the media abotu the rest and there almost 50 yrs old also lol
You think there aren't any 50 year old gang members or drug addicts? Get a grip.
These people were very good friends
They were not affiliated with any gangs.
wait for the rcmp to finish investigation before starting any rumors. They were good hard working people.
gonna miss you Owen
I agree if it was involved in gangs or drugs the RCMP would be the first to brag about that, because that's how they get their funding.

This guy from Alberta obviously had issues and he is to blame I would say regardless of anything the victims may have done. Creeps like that you can often find out in the bush at times. A few years back we ran into a psycho in a forestry camp site out the Pelican that was waving around his gun and stalking campers because he wanted the campground to himself. Sometimes you never know whats going through their heads and best not to stop and ask unless you're prepared to shot first.
The cops don't 'brag' about finding dead gang members, give your head a shake.
owen was a nice happy guy no gang crap i guess bad things happen to nice people RIP buddy
any word on who the 2nd victim is?
The second Victim was a friend of Owens that was helping them on their ranch.
wrong place wrong time.
They should bring back the death penalty for creeps like the guy who did all this .It would save a pile of money on the prison system to fast track these creeps and give them what they deserve
It is amazing how people jump to conclusions. I have spent a lot of time with Owen & family. Owen was a super nice guy and would do anything for anyone. This is very hard to come to terms with. Hopefully the RCMP investigation will shed more light on what actually happened. RIP Owen, you will be missed.
anybody know the exact location of the farm? I have spent a fair amount of time on the Pelican, but cant picture the place where it happened.
