The applications are in, and  there are a total of nine applicants for the post of Superintendant of School District 57.

Lynn Hall informed the Board that of the nine, 7 are external, and two are  from within the District.  Hall says he is confident  all applicants are well qualified.

The process for the interview panel will soon be set and the  short list will  follow.  Hall is certain a final decision will be made in mid March or early April.

Superintendant Dick Chambers has announced he is stepping down from his post at the end of the current school year.
