Prince George, B.C.- Tonight, The People’s Action Committee for Healthy Air will hold it’s Annual General Meeting and it will be the last meeting as President for Dave Fuller, his three year term is up and a new President will be taking over.

Fuller has had a very busy three years at the helm of PACHA. “I’m surprised at how far we’ve come to the point of industry and government sitting up and taking notice.   It shows that a dedicated group of people can make a difference when they put their minds to it.”

Fuller says there are some things on the horizon that will help improve the air quality in Prince George, notably the $122 million dollars from the black liquor green transformation fund which will be used by Canfor to make changes that will result in a 60% reduction in odour as well as reduce fine particulate emissions. “The Ministry of the Environment has really stepped up to do something about air quality as well “ he adds.

Fuller plans to stay on with PACHA’s Board of Directors.

The AGM will take place at the Prince George Public Library from 7-8:30 tonight. In addition to electing a new President, there is a need to fill two Directors positions as Dr. Mark Kubert and Mary Macdonald are stepping down.
Dr. Laurie Cook will be the guest speaker this evening.

Dave Fuller contributes a lot to the community. He is bright and holds on to his strong values. He is passionate but practical. He has done a great job with PACHA
kudos to Dave Fuller for recognizing an issue and doing something about it.
Dave, even though I may not neccassily support the ideals and the impact that your organization will cause. I still congratulate you for making a difference instead of being a peg on the wall.

My hat's off to Dave Fuller for all he and the folks at PACHA have done over the past three years. He definitely leaves some big shoes to fill.
Thank the maker that he is no longer president of Pacha. He almost always blew everything out of porportion rarely told the full story unless it suited his needs and used fear mongering to get what he needed. The latest being the Formaldahyde testing in the Millar addition everyone who knows anything about it knows the testing was Fubared from the start the company who did the testing didn't follow their own testing guidelines and ended up with false readings. But it don't make for good fear mongering to tell the truth

I for one will not miss him and good riddance
Dearth ...

Fear mongering? Dave hardly invented those test results. They were vetted, for the longest time, through the MoE as the prime client to receive the information and eventually released without much explanation as to the reasons for the level of the test.

I am not sure what inside knowledge you have that the readings were false. If they were then there must be some substance to that interpretation and I wonder why the MoE would not have passed that information on.

As I see it at this time there are several possibilities. No one is willing to verify one or more of those possibilities.

I am sure your special knowledge in this area could be extremely highly valued. Offer it and we would not have to pay to further explore the issue.
BTW .... Dr. Hay is at the helm now. I am wondering how long it will take before you wish Dave had stayed on for another term ..... :-)
