Canada whipped host Belarus 11-3 to even its record to 1-1 at the World Under-18 Hockey Championship.

Brett Connolly of the PG Cougars notched one goal and added three minor penalties for the winners.   Canada plays the USA Friday and Sweden Sunday as round robin play continues.
