Woman Assaulted In Freeman Park

Prince George- Police are seeking a man described as, in his mid forties, with short dirty blonde hair, 5-4 to 5-6, average build , who is wanted in connection with an assault on a woman in the Freeman Park area Saturday night.

Police say the female victim came across some people consuming liquor in the bleachers of the baseball diamond. She joined the group and shortly after dark the party broke up and as she was making her way out of the park, she was attacked, physically and sexually.

The male was scared away by a passing car. She was admitted to hospital and is recovering from her injuries.
