Just another tax payer funded scam. You can bet a good chunk of that 400k will go to administration costs, namely wage hikes for those office dwelling bureaucrats. Just look into the accountability requirements these scam artists need to do to justify these grants and you will see what a useless waste of money they are.
I'm just imagining the outcry that would happen if the government announced they were cutting off this funding.

"Mean spirited", "Not in the best interests of the poeple", "Gordo blah blah blah".

You just can't win sometimes.
I know the company, I was once a client, I know Tom, he has become client of mine.
He runs a good clean tight operation and maximizes every dollar. It is predominately family or long time associates working out of that office.

Tom grew this business from him and his son sleeping in his minivan to what it is today, A successful employment service that exceeds all its targets.

In this case, the government is doing what they should be for the disadvantaged. This is specifically about people with disabilities, not just down on their luck substance dependent ne'er do wells or chronically unemployed.

I doubt "Gordo" even has this on his radar. It is a pittance compared against the billion dollar deals he is being blamed for.
Isn't this guy a big Conservative Party of Canada backer, campaign manager, etc. ?
He may be, but then he might just be a non-partisan party supporter now.
non-partisan party supporter?? lol
having walked in the shoes of the unemployed and unwanted because of the wrong skills in the wrong century I think it is a cheap shot to question this type of venture.

I really don`t give a crap about who supports whom. This firm has delivered the goods for some time and continues to stand and deliver...........obviously if the private sector could supply the service without public money it would happen.
