Fire investigators are  trying to find out why this unique home on North Neckako road went up in flames over night.

The lone occupant, a woman, was alone when the fire started, she was taken to hospital  and treated for minor smoke inhilation.

There were either no  smoke detectors in the home or they weren't working, either way, it was something else that  woke  the woman from her sleep.

Damage is pegged between $300,000 and $400,000  dollars.

3 to 4 hundred thousand? What the heck? I could rebuild that house with 100 thousand popsicle sticks.

later............
It appears that this woman had some guardian angels watching over her. Often, the occupant is overcome by smoke long before anyone notices the fire.

I hope she is counting her blessings. The house can be rebuilt. Percy
