Drug Bust On McGregor Ave

Prince George, B.C. - RCMP now say the drug bust late Thursday resulted in 813 marihuana plants being seized from a home on McGregor Ave in the city.

One man and two women were arrested in the raid in which police say about $250,000 worth of dope, in various growing stages, was seized .

All three suspects, all from the lower mainland, were scheduled to appear in court today facing charges of production of marihuana, possession for the purpose of trafficking and theft of electricity.

Gee, there are only 6 houses on McGregor and most of them face each other. Pretty hard to conceal that type of activity without getting a little suspicion from your neighbors. And, one of the neighbors must have noticed an increase in their hydro bills too.

Why would the neighbor have an increase in thier hydro bill? Most theft is bypassing the meter - they wouldnt tie in to someone elses power behind thier meter.
