Fire In Quesnel Causes Extensive Damage

Quesnel, B.C.- RCMP in Quesnel and the Quesnel Fire Department are investigating an overnight blaze on Wilson Street.

The occupants of the home were sleeping at the time, but were alerted by a neighbour who spotted the flames, and were able to  get out of the home safely.

The flames destroyed a carport, the vehicle parked in the  carport and two out buildings.   The fire also spread to the home and caused extensive damage.

The cause of the fire is not yet known.
