Lightning Knocks Out Power East of P.G.

Prince George, B.C.  – The first thunderstorm of the year has resulted in a power outage in the east end of the Prince George region. The storm raged through  the Prince  George region   between 5 and 6.

A few customers on Legault Place  (east of the airport and south of Graves Road) are without power this evening as the result of a lightning strike.

B.C. Hydro crews are working on the problem and expect to have power restored to the area before 10 tonight.
