Canvassers will continue to collect names in all three ridings, as the initiative wants to ensure it has enough valid signatures to offset any errors or disqualified signatures.
The initiative must collect 10% of the registered voters in every riding in the Province. If that is accomplished, the Provincial Government must either consider the bill to abolish the HST or, put the question to a referendum.
The initiative has until July 5th to collect the necessary signatures.
