Prince George, B.C.-Effective January 1, 2011, the  Canfor Pulp Income Fund will change to become a dividend paying public corporation to be called, “Canfor Pulp Products Inc.”

 

Unit holders and the court have approved the plan for the conversion. 

 

The conversion follows federal legislation, the  Specified Investment Flow-Through Trust tax (SIFT)  which removed any tax benefits that existed for the Income fund.
