Scott Scholfield and Terry Teegee chat with NDP leader Carole James
Prince George, B.C.- A group, made up of mostly New Democrat supporters, showed up at the Africa Café this morning  in Prince George to have coffee with provincial NDP leader Carole James.

James has been touring the communities along Highway 16   meeting with residents to hear their concerns.

“These people are still very angry with the HST” says James. She says the Provincial government should bring the matter to the Legislature and defeat the planned change sooner rather than later. “It should be done before the next election is called” says James.

She says people are also concerned about the challenge facing the north “You know, this region felt the impact of the recession long before the lower mainland, these people don’t want a hand out, they want a hand up.”

So if James does happen to become Premier(scary)...will she get rid of the HST?
I don't believe anyone who takes the seat after Campbell will be able to get rid of the HST.
The HST will go, but it'll take 5 years. Campbell needs to cancel this now.

If he doesn't RECALL him.

BC Politicians need to be put on notice.
We need new leaders for both liberal and NDP..
Wow, the NDP sure seems to be popular these days. A "group" of people gather at the Africa Cafe........

By the look of Terry Teegee's face the "group" was just the 3 of them!!

Are the Liberals perfect, no, but how many people really think the NDP are a worthy replacement? I still think they aren't much more organized than the Green Party.

Savvvy...."the HST will go in 5 years". How do you figure? I think it will be just like the Carbon Tax. When it first came in there were a bunch of people that were outraged and said they didn't like it. Now what do they say about it? I think 5 years from now we will be thinking about other things rather than trying to get rid of the HST.
why use such a bad picture?
Hood. Exactly. Why? Carole James and the NDP need to get serious about how to run a political party or a campaign.

Even her statement to have the HST recinded before the next election is called is goofy. The next election is in 2013. This tax needs to be recinded **NOW** Even if we have to recall the legislature to get it done.

Good God. We are a Province of losers. Is there no one in the Province who can stand up and say it like it is. Do we need all these lies, and shenanigans put on by Politicians.

If the best you can do to attract a crowd in Prince George is to have coffee in the Africa Cafe then you might as well resign.

John Turner had the same problem years ago, when he came to town, he couldnt draw a crowd so he stood at the gates at Lakeland Mills and shook hands with workers as they left work.

If you have good campaign workers, and good members of your party this kind of BS should never happen.
Please, Please, Please let Carole still be at the helm of the NDP FastFerry for the next election!

The only thing she is good at is providing Liberal majoritites.

I assume it was opinion 250 who chose the picture and not Carole James.
Maybe it was crappy coffee that provoked the Mr. Yuk face. Could happen.
