Winton Global and Truckers Make a Deal

Winton Global's line is "Straight Goods, Real People, Real Relationships". It has delivered all three in a tentative agreement reached between it's harvesting contractors and the agent for the Prince George Trucking Association, The United Steelworkers Union Local 1-424.
The President of Winton GLobal, Mike Low, says this agreement will allow the company to proceed with it's expansion and growth plans. He says the agreement is a positive story and "In spite of the difficulties this past spring, the agreement signifies the long term relationship we have had with the Steelworkers, and the joint interest ensuring the sustainability of this great industry".
Steelworkers Local 1-424 spokesman, Wade Fisher, says the agreement will allow "The business' we represent to remain competitive, financially viable and provide security for the compapny and the employees over the long term".
The President of the Prince George Trucking Association, Dan Henry says he is please d with the outcome of the negotiations. The negotiation committee will recommend the agreement be ratified by Prince George Trucking Association members of the Winton Contractors.
The date for ratification has not yet been set, but it is hoped it will take place as soon as possible.
