Drugs and Consensual Fighting Top Two Problems In School District 57

Prince George, B.C.- The latest Student Conduct Review report for School District 57 indicates there were nearly 600 incidents reported in the school year of ’08-’09, and of that number, more than one third involved drugs.
Here are some of the highlights:

589 incidents reported

379 happened either in the school or on the school grounds

222 incidents involved drugs
-
163 involved consensual fighting
-
54 involved a physical assault
-
52 involved fires/fire alarms, fireworks/explosives
-
50 involved alcohol
-
21 involved a weapon.
