One Person Hurt in P.G. Fire

Prince George, B.C.- One person is in hospital with burns following a blaze in a McLean Crescent home last night.
Prince George Fire and Rescue say they arrived on scene around 11:00 last night, to find thick black smoke coming from the basement and front door of the building.
All six people at home at the time of the fire got out, with one person being taken to hospital.
Crews were able to knock down the fire quickly and prevent the fire from spreading to the upstairs of the home.
There was heat and smoke damage to the upstairs of the structure, with fire damage contained to a bedroom and hallway in the basement
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined, damage is said to be in the $150 thousand dollar range.
