Free Fare for Clean Air Tonight

Prince George, B.C.-  The Air Quality Advisory for Prince Geoge has come to an end, and that means the  free   rides on Prince George Transit are also set to  come to an end.

The  "free fare for clean air"  bus rides will end at midnight tonight.

The air quality advisory (which was  brought on by the smoke from the Greer Creek  fire)  is now over, because the levels of  particulate  are well within provincial targets.

However, the ban on  slash burning in the  Prince George Fire Centre  remains in effect.
