Well it's about time the RCMP are actually doing their jobs, I bet the price of pot just went up, supply and demand....
Ill bet the price is the same. Theres probably still many, many, more grow ops out there.
Just think of the lost revenue........ with all the manpower used to make those busts there was prolly no officers left to write seatbelt tickets at 18th and Quinn!
$6 billion a year crop value, in BC alone
Sure hope they grab the real estate, proceeds of crime could sure help offset our taxes....
i see that the RCMP are catching pot growers because they are stealing hydro or running loud genorators...this is good and all, but i find personaly I am more nervous about people high on crack and meth and those drugs that kill people, and think the police need to find a way to get the hard drugs off our streets too.
Boudicca, your so funny. Suggesting that the RCMP do actual police investigations into harmful substances instead of the low hanging fruit of large grow ops for an indigenous ditch weed to the temperate areas of the globe.

I bet they could not find their own wang unless they got a tip from the public.

It is all accidental police "work" with this stuff.

I will be happy when they FINALLY announce that they have caught all the perverts who have attacked women in this time. These guys are still running around looking for the next target. I just hope the next one is lucky and LIVES!!!
Sorry...should of read "attacked women in this TOWN". *MY BAD!
Hmmmmm 6 billion or more a year if that was all!Take that away from the gangs, they won,t be able to find there butts with both hands, may have to go find a real job!!
Do you not think it,s time to regulate this product?? I for one DO and TAX`the shit out of it,costs next to nuthin to grow.We could be debt free for ever!!way to cool.Cops can focus on the real criminals, crack dealers and meth heads.
I grow my own meds!!
How can they claim 450 starter clones are worth between $225,000 and $350,000?

Ludicrous to make such a claim. The going rate for a healthy plant is $10 and not a $1000 a clone. Maybe one in ten clones will even make it to being a healthy plant. More like they nabbed $450 value in plants and not the $350,000 the police will justify their actions with. A plant has almost no street value until it is in bud and the smell that is associated with that. They could have a 1000 busts like this in PG and it wouldn't change the supply for the local market one bit.

It truly is a waste of police resources to allow them to play this game at the expense of real police work into the hard drugs that destroy lives and hard criminals that do real harm to the public.
I friend of mine once said " the cops couldn't find a menstuating elephant in four feet of snow". Just a thot
