Prince George, B.C.- The Greer Creek fire, southwest of Vanderhoof is now  completely contained.

Heavy machinery operators have completed a fuel-free line around the fire.

Crews today will work to secure that line by burning fuels between the containment line and the fire front. Cooler and wetter conditions overnight and today have significantly reduced fire behaviour.

A total of 242 personnel continue to work on the fire.
