Man Charged with Forcible Confinement and Assault

Prince George, B.C. - A 27 year old man is in custody facing charges of forcible confinement and assault.

RCMP in Prince George say  they got a call Sunday morning from a residence in the Hart Highlands where a female advised she had been badly beaten and held against her will.

Police attended the victim's location and found the female victim who had suffered injuries to her head and face. The victim advised she had been assaulted for a number of hours and unable to get away. BC Ambulance services were called to the scene and escorted the victim to the University Hospital of Northern British Columbia for Medical Attention.

RCMP attended a residence on Underhill Rd and arrested a 27 yr old male who was known to the female victim. The suspect was transported to the Prince George RCMP Detachment and held in custody for court and will subsequently be facing charges of Aggravated Assault and Forcible Confinement.

This is sad. Again; another case of the protectors arriving after the crime. No fault of theirs but they are the advocates of disarming the public. Had the female been trained in fire arms self defence and had the 'right' to protect herself, the abduction would not have happened.
Very true. But then she would now be languishing in the old lockup, charged with assault!
