Man Charged in Theft of Trailer

Prince George, B.C.- A 48 year old man from Pink Mountain  has been charged with theft over $5,000 and possesion of stolen property after a  tandem trailer was  stolen  from  the 9100 block of National Place.

RCMP responded to the area early this  morning, after two Curtis Elite employees spotted two males  stealing the trailer from a business compound.  The Curtis Elite employees  followed the suspects from a safe distance while calling police with the details.

RCMP  found a Ford F150 pulling the stolen trailer at the Shell gas station on Highway 97 south.  The driver was arrested without incident.  Police were not  able to locate a second suspect.

We should be able to throw him in a small cement room and leave him until he tells us who his friend is. I dont think he picked up a random hitchhiker who then helped him steal a trailer...
