No Name Yet in Fatal Crash

Prince George, B.C. - RCMP have not yet released the name of the 26 year old male who died on Canada Day  in a single vehicle crash  near 13340 Miworth Road.

Police  say the Dodge passenger van had  skidded off the road and struck a power pole around 8:30 last night.  The 26 year old driver, the lone occupant of the vehicle,  succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the crash.

Police  believe speed and alcohol  played a role in this fatal crash.  The investigation  is ongoing.

I'm glad he didn't take anyone with him.
By the sounds of this it seems that Rescue crews were called out from Beaverly which has 30 minute responce to Miworth & Fort George Highway Rescue was south of Hixon. Whether speed & alcohol were factors the thing is if there was a city and regional mutual aid agreement in place, this accident may have not been fatal. People need to get their heads out of their @#$%^ and work to save lives.
