Fatal Crash Victims Names Released

Prince George, B.C.-  The names of the two males  who  died in  separate  crashes on the long weekend in the Prince George region have been released.

On July 1st, Prince George RCMP Traffic Services were called to a motor vehicle accident on Miworth Road .  Anthony Chalise Rossetti, 26 yrs old of Prince George was driving a Dodge passenger van when he lost control of the vehicle and struck a power pole. Rossetti,who was the sole occupant, was pronounced dead at the scene.

On July 4, Prince George RCMP , BC Ambulance Services and the Pineview Fire Department responded to a Motor Vehicle accident in the 6400 block of Bendixon Road.  Brad Lee Rotar, 27 yrs old ,was a passenger in a pick up truck when the driver lost control and struck a power pole. All three occupants in the truck were injured and transported to the University Hospital of Northern British Columbia where Rotar succumbed to  his  injuries.

Rotar was originally from Edmonton Alberta but was residing in Prince George.

Prince George RCMP are still investigating the fatal collisions.  They say speed and alcohol were contributing factors in both crashes.
