Prince George, B.C.- Another  aircraft treat at the Prince George Airport.

Three  CT-155 Hawk trainer jets of the Canadian Airforce, landed last night so the jets could be refueled and the pilots could  get some rest and  get re-charged.

The trio is expected to be on its way over the lunch hour.

What were the pilots getting!?
rest, the pilots would get some rest....

thanks for catching that, I missed putting in the word "rest" the first time 'round.

LOL

LOL
The old airport people must just be beating the heck out their backs congratulating themselves.
News flash...these could have landed very nicely on the shorter runway....
nice to see them here though....
I don't see any reference in the story to the planes only coming here because of the expansion...

It's a good story, nice pics, why does there have to be an underlying conspiracy? Can't it just be taken as is?

why does there have to be an underlying conspiracy? Can't it just be taken as is?

wouldn't that be nice if that could happen but nope not by some of the people on this forum they are always looking at the gloomy side of life!!

but I agree with you nice pictures!! and glad to see people coming here regardless of the reasons!!
"Can't it just be taken as is?"

No, nothing is as it seems or appears.
Trust no one, least of all government lies/propaganda/spin/words.
Someone must have alerted the Press that these guys were landing here.

Is this news, or is it PR???

Planes land at Airports all over the world everyday. Do they get reported in the news???

As an example Deadhorse Airport in Alaska (Prudhoe Bay) averages 54 Aircraft operations per day on a 6500ftx150ft airstrip.

54% General Aviation
28% Air Taxi
18% Scheduled Commercial
1% Military.

Is this news??? More like human interest.

Have a nice day.
"Planes land at Airports all over the world everyday. Do they get reported in the news???"

Whatever.
Palopu we do not see these type of airplanes everyday. For people that are interested in aircraft this is interesting. What are you interested in? Anything I might be, or give a damm about.
If they landed last night why didn't they let the public know. Why is it always a bloody secret as to when air ( trainer) fighter jets land. Jeeez!
If anyone was up at 10:45 pm last night you would have heard these awesome machines...I live close to the airport and when these aircraft came in you knew it...they are loud...too all you old fashion fuddy duddies that are opposed to the new runway come out and watch the airbombers take off and land...it is just awesome to watch...
oh come on prov1 - dont call Palopu an old fuddy duddy - lol
I live close to the airport as well, and they were fantastic. I can't believe how loud they were. It must be a thrill to ride in one.
Well yeah, its a thrill the first five or six hundred times.... but after that it is kinda boring.

The other thing I might mention is that the tray service is terrible... the flight attendants are not very pretty, but they make up for it with their quirky snarlyness and snappy outfits... the aisles are cramped and you have to turn sideways to pass... the washrooms are not overly roomy and you still cannot smoke in them either.

Last trip, some kid kept kicking the back of my seat... and the drunk next to me kept snoring during the smooth part of the flight... other than that it was an okay trip, aside from those people parked along the hiway watching our every move.
